Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Formation Class

Level I 3-6 Course in Catholic Montessori Formation, 2011-2012
Available through the co-sponsorship of John XXIII Montessori Children's Center and Renaissance Montessori in Manassas, this Level I course will be directed by internationally recognized Formation leader, Rebekah Rojcewicz for the purpose of CGS Catechist certification, or simply for adult enrichment. Those completing the course will receive certification by the National Office of CGS. Come and experience why the Missionaries of Charity, Nashville Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia, and Franciscan Friars of Renewal are using this beautiful, unique method in their own work.
Location:
Classes will be held at Renaissance Montessori School, 8730 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA 20110 (Map, school entrance location, and directions.)
Cost:
Because of John XXIIIMCC’s co-sponsorship, the course fee is just $850.00 per person. CGS certification fee is included. Payment for one-half of the course fee, $425.00 will be due by May 27, 2011. Course Schedule:
Course Schedule for the first half of Level I : Day-long classes, similar to a retreat format, will begin Wednesday, June 1st from 9:15 am -4:00 pm and continue daily at these times, excepting Sunday June 5th, until Wednesday June 8th. The second half of Level I: June 5th- 9th, 2012, from 9:30 am – 4:00 pm. daily.

Please bring a notebook for taking notes and a bag meal each day as needed. Nursing babies only during the course; on-site child care may be made available if there is enough interest; see registration form to request child care.
